Entering Russia requires a tourist visa which can be a difficult and timely procedure. AS PART OF YOUR ENTRY FEE, IMAC WILL OBTAIN A VISA ON YOUR BEHALF. The following documents are required:
- Complete visa application form (one per person)
- Valid passport with at least two clear visa pages AND expiration date no earlier than October 30, 2008.
- Two passport size photos of the applicant
IMAC obtains ALL necessary paperwork from Russia required for the Visa including the tourist confirmation from the host in Russia and the necessary travel voucher. The Russian consulate in Washington, D.C. will affix the visa directly into your U.S. passport. IMAC will be submitting the passports to the Russian consulate no later than March 17, 2008. In order for IMAC to obtain the tourist visa on your behalf, you must provide your passport, visa application and passport sized photos to IMAC no later than March 15, 2008. No registrations will be accepted after March 15, 2008. Your passport will be returned to you, by mail, once the visa has been affixed by the Russian Consulate office and checked for errors by IMAC.
IMAC will verify that all visas have been issued correctly by the Russian consulate and will make any necessary corrections prior to the return of your passport and visa. Please note that visas list entry and exit dates, your vital information, passport details and short information about the inviting party. Visas are issued with specific limitations regarding the purpose of visit, length of stay, visa validity, etc; and, cannot be changed or extended. Your Russian visa is an entry AND exit permit. If you lose your visa or extend your stay beyond your designated departure date, leaving the country could be troublesome. If you change your travel plans outside those made by IMAC, you will need to reapply for a new visa.
